FirstVet is growing fast and in order to facilitate our global expansion, we’re strengthening our marketing team with a Head of growth. Are you a natural leader, with a sharp business and analytical mindset that knows what it takes to become a market leading service in a global arena, this is the opportunity you have been waiting for! 

As FirstVet’s Head of growth, you’ll accelerate our international growth alongside our CMO and ensure constant growth through acquisition and retention of pet owning customers. As a senior leader in the global marketing team you’ll be coaching an ambitious group of colleagues who are working with SEM, SEO, performance marketing, app marketing and website conversion. You’re expected to bring documented growth experiences from a similar journey to the table. We believe that you currently work within streaming services, gaming, fintech or other app based subscription experiences.

We expect you to contribute with expertise in various growth channels such as paid acquisition, SEM, SEO, CRM and website conversion. You’ll inspire the team members to grow in their expert areas, as well as support our local country organisations in US, UK, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, as well as coming markets, on their different growth journeys. You’ll be involved in strategic planning and project management, as well as mapping out digital customer journeys, data analysis, implementing new initiatives and setting tracking requirements. 

This is a full-time role based in our office in Stockholm. However, during this specific time, we follow the guidelines from the local health authority and work remotely. 

Your responsibilities:

  • Establishing and developing growth strategies for the organisation and lead the growth initiatives end-to-end.
  • Ensure ambitious growth targets are set and delivered on an international level, creating ongoing reporting formats together with the team.
  • Coach and inspire the growth team members to develop and perform within their respective responsibilities.
  • Constantly iterating on our growth strategy, evaluating, analyzing and optimizing revenue and campaign effectiveness.
  • Making sure that we are utilizing our global and local resources efficiently in order to reach our ambitious targets.
  • Collaborate closely with important internal stakeholders such as the product team and the Country Managers, as well as within the rest of the marketing team to make sure we are aligned and on the right track towards our KPI’s.

You have great interpersonal skills, a humble personality, and an ability to spread energy around you. 

Apart from that we also believe that you have…

  • An academic degree in business, engineering or marketing
  • 6+ years of work experience, preferably in a fast-growing international company within streaming services, gaming, fintech or other app based subscription industry
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset 
  • Experience from working at a strategic level as well as hands-on 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire
  • Solid project management experience from working with complex strategic projects across several markets
  • Experience from working with B2C products, preferably subscription services 
  • Experience from leading teams within areas such as paid acquisition, CRM and website conversion
  • Full professional proficiency in English, verbal, and writing
