Join FirstVet as an Operations Support Associate - 2nd Shift

As an Operations Support Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the global FirstVet vet team carry out its mission of

FirstVet's vision is to streamline the interaction between pet owners and veterinarians by offering simple patient screening and advice through video meetings on mobile telephones, computers, and tablets. We operate across seven markets globally and we are looking for an individual who is passionate about operations and joining a company that is on the frontier of expanding our veterinary telehealth platform in the U.S.

This role will be part of the U.S. team but with a global focus towards all our other markets. The role will be 100% remote.

As a Operations Support Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the global FirstVet vet team in delivering remote consultations at the highest standard possible.

This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly role.  

We are currently looking for coverage during the following days and times:  Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4pm to 12am PST.  

You may work from anywhere in the continental United States so long as you can commit to these hours.

Responsibilities

  • Triage issues as they come up with regards to vet scheduling and rebooking appointments via our Vet Panel and scheduling system
  • Escalate customer support issues and address as appropriate
  • Escalate tech issue as they arise across our global platforms to our tech team
  • Troubleshoot future appointments and take proactive steps to ensure the highest level of customer service (U.S. only)
  • Provide evening customer support including gathering information as needed to ensure a high-quality service delivery
  • Other tasks as assigned

Education and experience requirements

3+ years of experience working in a veterinary clinic with some senior responsibilities or 3+ years of operations / customer support experience.
