As our new Internal IT support you will have ownership and further grow our internal IT function. You will be in charge of all daily operative tasks by providing excellent support to our colleagues and veterinarians with their IT related questions. You will also be responsible for implementing new processes and ways of working, challenging already existing ones, in regards to technical support and IT security as well as other strategic areas. This is a perfect role for you that have worked a couple of years with IT support and are now ready to take on a bigger responsibility and be  part of growing an internal IT Support function.  

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting our veterinarians and employees in technical support requests via email, slack, phone, or ongoing video consultations
  • Identify and develop effective processes in how to work with our technical support
  • Own processes related to IT security and ensure that we are compliant in our ways of working
  • Educate employees and vets in regards of security 
  • Identify and drive improvements related to IT security
  • Troubleshoot, solve and-/or escalate technical issues 
  • You will work closely together with our customer support team and our veterinarian operations team
  • This is a first line support role and will therefore involve some occasional after hours or emergency work
  • IT assets inventory and usage, system access and user accounts, being part of the on-/off boarding process etc
  • Purchasing of hardware to employees

The person we are looking for has:

  • Some years of previous work experience in a technical support role. 
  • Previous experience from working with IT security and compliance.
  • Previous experience in troubleshooting and support to macOS, iOS, Windows and Android devices is an advantage
  • A problem-solving mindset and service orientation to all our stakeholders
  • Good communication skills 
  • Fluent in Swedish and English is a must
  • Ability to navigate and prioritize among a wide variety of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

Apart from the above-mentioned requirements, it goes without saying that an interest in animals is highly desirable. We’re a pet-orientated organisation and it’s not unusual for a dog or cat to join our Zoom calls!
